We can easily use the mouse heavy or light chain to search for a complementing human chain in a two-step process that results in the isolation of a fully human antibody with comparable specificity and function.

We can utilize our libraries to find improved heavy or light chains in our fully mammalian system.  We use this technique frequently to find sub-nanomolar affinity antibodies.

Need a Bispecific Antibody?

One solution for the manufacture of bispecific antibodies employs a common light chain shared by both antibodies. Because our libraries are modular, Vaccinex is able to successfully select antibodies based on the use of a fixed or static light chain across a wide variety of targets without the time–consuming step of remaking the libraries. In this way, we are able to deliver two antibodies with different heavy chains that pair with the same light chain.
